Nothing could have prepared me for my first sighting of Allington Castle. Tucked away in a quiet corner of Maidstone, the only entrance is by a private gate and a winding drive through the trees. When you come out into the open, you are at the top of a hill, and before you lies a stunning castle surrounded by a moat and beautiful gardens. As a private residence, it is a venue that appears to shy away from the spotlight. What this means is that Anne and Michael have found a hidden gem of a venue at which to hold their wedding ceremony this coming September. After a walk around the courtyard and historic interior of the castle, we ventured out into the grounds for some relaxed portrait shots. Here are just a few. The rest of the images can be viewed here. I hope you like the images guys. Really looking forward to creating some beautiful wedding photography for you both this autumn.
