Doug and Emily’s wedding was certainly a spring affair.  The sun was shining, beautiful blossom was in bloom, and Pimms overflowed.  The blossom tree wasn’t in flower when we did a recce of the venue the previous month, so it was a welcome surprise and probably the most gorgeous backdrop I’ve ever used for group shots.  The day held lots of beautiful details, including the wedding cake made up of lots of individual fairy cakes – a complete surprise for Doug and Emily, specially made by Emily’s brother and his wife.  They even had a caricature of the happy couple drawn, which added some kitsch fun to the top table.  But I’ll let the pictures tell the story…
