I knew I would love Tom & Anna’s wedding when I first met with them at their house to discuss their upcoming nuptials.  With a shared love of design (and Hans Wegner posters on their walls), they talked of their plans for a fun and relaxed wedding.  Anna was especially excited by the fact I shoot film – being a Bafta-winning film producer (whose films I own and love), she has an appreciation for the aesthetic and delicacy of film and so it felt especially apt that her wedding pictures be captured using this analogue format.

Having been together for over 15 years and had two gorgeous children, their wedding was unexpected and romantic; exactly how Anna had described it to me when she first got in contact.  The laidback atmosphere perfectly suited the venue.  I always love photographing weddings at MC Motors; its gritty, warehouse vibe attracts a couple who want something a little different for their celebration.  Anna made a stunning Vera Wang bride.

Thank you, Anna & Tom, for having me document your very special day.  I loved every minute of your wedding; from the happy faces of your stylish and colourful guests, to sampling the amazing food you laid on for dinner, and above all, capturing the beautiful, tender love you share.  Thank you for trusting me to photograph it as I saw it.  I hope you love your pictures and I feel honoured that they will be hung in your home and become part of the fabric of your lives.
