It’s always a privilege to photograph a wedding, but it’s an even more special honour when you’re related to the couple in question. Jemma is my husband’s cousin, and she and Tom chose to celebrate their marriage at the stunning Preston Court, where not only does the ceremony take place on a little island, but there’s a working carousel and vintage fairground scenes as a backdrop. It’s quite a jawdropping place, and it was lovely to capture them both in such a pretty setting.
As a Kent wedding photographer, I’m so lucky that capturing beautiful weddings at Preston Court is literally my day job. It really suits a bride and groom who want a venue that is fun, quirky and English with a twist.
Thank you J&T for having me photograph your gorgeous day. It was an absolute pleasure and lovely to keep celebrating after the camera had been packed away. I have no doubt you’ll have a wonderful future together, and it’s lovely to have you both as such good friends.
