This week I am sharing with you the first wedding of Kelli and Robert, whose pre-wedding shoot on Hampstead Heath was a hot, summery affair. The weather decided to relapse into its usual mix of grey and rain for the wedding, but that didn’t stop the day from being beautiful. This wedding day was all about having an intimate family celebration, so the wedding took place at a pretty country church before being followed by a drinks reception at Balcombe Place. Kelli looked absolutely gorgeous in an early 1960s-inspired wedding dress and birdcage veil, and I loved her little touch of wrapping a locket around her bouquet that included images of her late mum and grandmother. It’s always those little personal touches that make a wedding so special.
This weekend I am off to capture Kelli and Robert’s second wedding, a big party in Ibiza with lots more family and friends.
